At the Market-10 August 2010
Toured the city all day and night. Went to tons of local street markets, which I loved. The culture shines though at those places. Ate beef stomach and intestines for dinner. It was delicious:) The only thing about these city trips, is that I don’t have much to say about it. It’s something you have to be there to experience. All the sights, sounds, smells, textures, everything, needs...
City View- 9 August 2010
Woke up after a nice, much needed rest on an actual bed, not an uncomfortable airplane seat. Had to wear my uniform for the only day! Awesome in that factor, but so not, as it was poly and long sleeve. Mix that with humidity and heat and slight illness…. oi. Went down to breakfast and saw everyone in their uniforms. And so began the picture fest. Everywhere I went, I was asked to pose in a...
Welcome Party-8 August 2010
I’m here!!! Goodness me, words can’t describe how happy I was to be on ground, in HONG KONG!!! I had several mishaps, however. In the airport, going through security, I managed to misplace my mp3. Oh goody. How many hours on a plane, without music?? Plus, I managed to acquire a head cold the day I departed, so I wasn’t feeling all that hot. It felt kind of terrible, knowing...

Rachel, Kendra and me. Being rad with our reflections. I can’t believe that this was the last day of Summer Academy. It came waaay too quick!! Also, I’m leaving for Hong Kong in a day!!! Crazy!!! As that is so, I do not know if I’ll be able to access a computer while I’m overseas. I will be taking pictures, and might just have to upload them when I get back. We shall...

Mandala - 2 August 2010
Homework my UNI 194 class is never dull. We had to make a mandala of inner self, how we perceive it. I didn’t quite follow the circle part, but at least they are all connected, right? Everything that we put in our mandala should hold significant meaning to ourselves, personally. I love tasks like this that let me create without it being wrong. So I set to work with my oil pastels and...
Sooo, Madi and I went to go see the fabulous and wonderful Adam Lambert. He is so spectacular, such a showman. I’m still in delightful awe from him:) ~1AUG10

View from Up Top - 28 July 2010
Ok, I know that I have posted every day like I said I would. But life happens more times than not, so, there. Plus, tumblr did not want me using my original picture of my sister making a boat out of my shoe…maybe it’ll upload on facebook…. eh. But anywhos. This is upstairs in the secret 3rd level in the UCB at West. It’s pretty nifty, pattern-wise. ~28JUL10
